Recycling programme in local schools
Environmental education should start from an early age
EWe are launching the "School Recycling Programme" in partnership with local schools. This will involve placing recycling bins in participating schools and our teachers will give special lessons to students on the importance of recycling and good waste management. The aim of the programme is to make younger generations more environmentally aware and actively involved in creating a sustainable future.
Support for local beekeepers
There are serious problems around bee stocks
EWe have launched the "Bees in the City" initiative to support local beekeepers and increase the urban bee population. The project includes tenders for the installation of beehives in public spaces and businesses, and educational programmes on the importance and protection of bees.
Green School Programme
If a child sees that we adults care about the environment, he or she will do the same.
Latest from our project, the "Green School Programme", aims to promote environmental awareness and reduce the ecological footprint in local schools. The schools involved in the partnership are running various sustainability projects such as composting, energy efficiency improvements and the use of locally grown food in school meals. The long-term goal of the programme is to actively involve students and the school community in shaping a sustainable future.
